Manon Gartside

Manon has been with the BC Sustainable Energy Association (BCSEA) since 2006 and has been teaching its Cool It! Climate Leadership Training (previously Climate Change Showdown) workshops to students since the beginning. She has taught over 700 workshops and reached over 16,000 students and their families, providing them with strategies to reduce their energy consumption. Manon has a life-long passion for nature, sustainability and climate science and has been involved in numerous environmental organizations. She has a BSc in Earth Sciences, an MSc in Environmental Geochemistry and a Certificate in Permaculture Design.
