Gwen Hovey

Gwen is a passionate teacher, artist, linguist, and full-time food-lover. A tree-hugger and general Earth enthusiast, she believes that when we "know better", we "do better". She therefore strives to be a full-time learner on all things climate (and life), so that she can help others think critically and use evidence-based optimism to make a positive impact in local and global communities. Outside of teaching, Gwen feels most alive when she is hiking in the mountains, running by the water, painting, learning languages, cooking, and spending time with cherished friends and loved ones.
